Shawn C. Hewlett, LUTCF
Shawn Hewlett has been in the insurance business for the past 28 years. He has a wide range
of insurance experience in both the individual and corporate insurance markets. The last 14
years has been spent with a focus on employee benefits. Shawn is appointed by all of the
major group health insurance carriers such as Aetna, Altius, BlueCross BlueShield, Humana,
SelectHealth, and United Heathcare, and has helped many companies navigate their way
Through the many choices of plans that make up the corporate benefits market. These
benefits include company health insurance plans, Section 125 Cafeteria plans, group Life,
Disability, Dental and 401k Retirement plans as well as Supplemental and Voluntary plans.
Shawn is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He maintains non-resident licensing and carrier appointments in several states in addition to Utah.
Shawn has been married to his wife Jeannette for 25 years and has two children, Zachary 24 and Alicia 22. He resides in Sandy, Utah.
Suzanne Powell
Suzanne Powell has been in the health insurance business for approximately 15 years. She is a licensed life and health insurance agent and has a BA degree from Brigham Young University in business management. Suzanne joined Shawn Hewlett and Elite Insurance Group in 2002. Prior to becoming part of the Elite Insurance team, she worked from 1997 to 2002 as an Account Executive for Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah.
She is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).
